I have never imagined it would be so difficult coming back to reality after a short escape. Dubai definitely left a mark on me, one it will be hard to forget. You know me, I like travelling, but this city felt like a different planet. If you had ever thought about something amazing it is a big chance you'll find it in Dubai, because guess what? There anything is possible!

Duabi is not only newer, bigger and better it is also full of contrast and I found that to be very appealing. East meets West, old meets new and technology meets tradition. At any given corner you will find opposites that attract and make for an exiciting mix. Needless to say there is nothing better than camels on a beach in front of skyscrapers next to the one of the most amazing sunset after a swim surrounded by approximately 30 different nationalities.

The truth is, in less than a week I came back from the future, from amazing buildings and dancing fountains, from summer to winter and believe me that is hard. Nonetheless, here I am sharing with you my thoughts and with them my latest outfit.

I have chosen this coat because it reminds me of that beautiful Sun. I picked it up in order that I might make these rainy days a little more easy to bear. While a deep yellow could totally be considered a fall color, this bright, highlighter hue is totally unexpected come the colder weather. That being said, it looks great paired with neutral, non competing colors. The coat is both eye-catching and statement-making, but it's not overhelming because of the neutral beige and white tones in the rest of my ensemble.

Boots are one of my preferred footwear during fall. With so many boots options available- flats, over-the-knee, wedge, pointed toe or ankle- there is a boot to go with every outfit and occasion. You can wear a dress with boots, jeans with boots and even ankle boots with trousers.

Depending on your style and your personal preference, a classic black or brown riding boot might just be the only one you need. But if you're a boot enthusiast like I am, then you'll want to wear embellished ankle boots, flat boots in black or brown, some furry boots for the snow and the peerless suede boots.

I love to buy my perfect boots from ZARA. They have many affordable options and new styles every year. Many of them are under 100 euros, so they don't break your boot budget and also might last for several years. Therefore, when I spotted these brown beauties, I just couldn't help not to buy them. You know that feeling, right?

If you're wondering what to wear with brown boots, then I've got the simplest answer for you: pair them with dark jeans and add a splash of color to your outfit. Nonetheless, you can create a slightly chic fall outfit if you combine the right pieces. I paired the boots with a floral printed skirt and a pink sweater. This outfit looks cute and soft, but it's the right amount.

Don't put away your pastels just yet. Just because autumn is here, doesn't mean that wearing pastels in the fall is impossible, or that you need to ditch your lighter-colored pieces. Light, pale colors may not seem to fit in with the dark, pigmented colors of fall, but the truth is that the two are really a match made in clothing-heaven. Forget any fashion rules you think that you may know and throw them out the window. When it comes to style, it's only your perspective that matters. In my opinion, pastels are perfect for fall as they add a bit of color to an outfit without overhelming any other pieces. What's not to love?

When it comes to styling pastels, it's all about adding in different textures. Personally, I love pairing pastel pieces with suede or leather in the fall, as it's such a lovely juxtaposition of sweet and edgy staples. However, if you're into bold prints and colors you may want to add bits of pastels as well. Bold pieces mix great with cool pink. Basically pastels are for everyone, all the time.

Pastel mix well with so many different patterns and textures. Try adding a chic print and a cool trench coat to a pastel pair of pants for an interesting mix.
