As I've mentioned in a previous post one of the amends this blog gave me was the chance to meet amazing people. One of those people is Andreea Tudor (or should I call you Manole, girl?) I bet you all know Andreea from her blog www.miu-miu.ro, but today I don't want to talk about her blog nor her style, but rather about the girl behind the pictures.

First you must know that she is a perfectionist. I have never seen anyone to care so much about all the details. She is elegant and refined and everything had to be that way. From make up, flowers and invitations to arranging tables, she was involved in all. Despite the fact she told me so many times how stressed she was, when I saw her during her wedding day....well....she was glowing! She looked happy and in love...sooo in love... She was a princess finally living her fairytale, after days of stress and hardwork. Congratulations, dear! It was such a beautiful wedding!

For this special event I chose to wear a maxi dress. I don't know what it is about me and maxi dresses, but I can't help to love them, even more in such a stunning color like this bright yellow. I must confess, I have had this dress for a few years and although it crossed my mind to put it for sale I just couldn't do it. I guess it was waiting for the right moment to be worn.

As regards my hairstyle and make up I chose to keep them simple. This cascading braid effect is everywhere on Pinterest and it's easy to see why: it looks equally gorgeous on straight or curly hair. This hairstyle requires a fair amount of practice, that's why, this time I called for the help of a specialist.

PS: My dog loves to be taken pictures even more than I do and although it photo-bumped some of my pictures it was too cute not to love it.

Hello, everyone and happy new week! How was your weekend? Mine was full of events. First, we celebrated our third anniversary. It's funny how times passes by and it's hard to believe that it was 3 years ago when we first met and he fell in love with me :)) I'm kidding of course, but the truth is our love gets stronger with every year and it seems like we have known each other since  forever. Besides this, we took part at one of the most important days in the life of a great friend, her wedding, but about this I will write you in another post.

My first craziness when summers comes is wearing dresses. Nonetheless, I chose this one from Kurtmann.ro in order to wear it all year long as I find it very feminine and chic. The model is timeless and I'm sure that within 5 years it will still be a timeless dress. Besides, it's discreetly elegant so I can use it even for a dinner out. I'm really satisfied about it because I finally have a powder pink dress to use in the right moments.

And what about the shoes? You know me, I love wearing stilettos, even more if they have an amazing color like this gorgeous green. Wearing pink with green reminds me of  macarons and candies. Don't you agreee?

2.Neoprene. Yep, like scuba gear, it's now mowing it's way into swimwear. I love them because they're flexible and so incredibly lightweight. You can barely feel them on, whick make them extremely comfortable.
