Nothing like a fun coat to overcome the unexcitment of these cold days. I think January is that month when you really just feel like staying home by the fireplace and wait for spring to come. Well, at least for me, after the craze of the holidays, the New Year always feels too calm. I guess that's precisely the point, having time to create new routines and practice your new year's resolution.
Talking about 2015, Pantone named Marsala its color of the year. Much like fortified wine that gives Marsala its name, this tasteful hue embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling meal while its grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophiticated, natural earthiness. This hearty, yet stylish tone is universally appealling and translates easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishing and interiors.
Very rich and full of life, Marsala brings us a senation of warm and fearless world where sexy is the new great thing. Pairing it with neutrals such as black, white and grey or metallics such as gold and silver seems to soften hue, especially when it's a part of a print or pattern. We're not seeing as much of marsala in shoes, but it's a reasonable punctuation of color in a handbag, on earrings or a necklace when worn against a predominantly grey, black or even navy ensemble.
For today I have prepared another winter outfit that is suitable for different occasions that may occur during these days. I have chosen a marsala turtleneck which is both comfy and chic. If you feel like the shoes are too much you can replace them by a pair of cute ankle boots. You all know about my love for statement necklaces and I am super excited that I have discovered a new site : www.chicflavour.ro. I've ordered 5 necklaces so far and I am very pleased with them. They look gorgeous and the price is more than affordable.
